    Arkansas is the " natural " state.  We have been blessed with beautiful rivers, lakes, mountains, and forest.  Professional outfitters and guides make access to these natural endowments possible.  These professionals help people from all over the world enjoy the recreational benefits of Arkansas in safety and in a manner that maintains the resource for future generation to inherit.

    By associating, guides and outfitters of Arkansas hope to further the enjoyment of our state's rich natural heritage and promote the professionalism of the guiding and outfitting businesses.

Objective of the association:

    A. Cultivate and advance the art, science and sport of fishing in the ways of all fishing techniques most consistent with the preservation and use of game fish resources.

    B. Be the voice for organized outfitters and fishing guides.

    C. Promote conservation of recreational resources.

    D. Facilitate and improve the knowledge of fishing.

    E. Elevate the standard of integrity, honor and courtesy of angler

    G. Establish and maintain liaison with other organizations of anglers, conservationists and governmental agencies concerned with the sport of angling.

    H. Keep its members informed of developments of interest to the membership.
